As part of government’s efforts to account to the good people of Ghana what they have used the mandate entrusted to them, the Ministry of Information on 6th August, 2024 organized a Town Hall Meeting and Exhibition which featured many stake holders including chiefs, market queens, ministesr, members of parliament, opinion leaders, council of elders and general populace.
The event which was held at the Ghana National Teachers Hall was themed on “Regional Revitalization; Government’s Commitment to Growth, Development and Prosperity” featured all Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies in Greater Accra.
The discussions focused on programs and projects government has embarked on upon assumption of office and was spearheaded by the minister for Finance, Hon. Mohammed Amin Adams.
The second phase of the program was the Exhibition.m session.
Ablekuma Central Municipal Assembly took turn to showcase the many developmental projects and social interventions it has embarked on since attaining the status of a Municipal Assembly.
Visiting the Ablekuma Central stand was the Greater Accra Minister, Hon. Daniel Titus Glover, Minister for information, Hon. Fatimatu Abubakar as well as the minister of finance, Hon. Mohammed Amin Adam.
The latter was delighted at the many projects and interventions the assembly as undertaken.
He specifically asked the assembly to mention three major things it has done over the period and he was amazed at the many responses in areas of education, health, sanitation, Agriculture, Infrastructure and social interventions.
Hon. Amin Adam encouraged the assembly to continue in the trajectory it has started on.
